I've seen DB problems recently with the Greylisting, and the problem was 
the Date/time was not correct (hardware clock 9 months off).  Given that 
the machine was running in the past the last update field was 
significantly older than the correct date and time.

NTP is a good cure for this, but a Race condition on the Firewall did 
not permit the ntp to sync up properly.
