Man I have to learn not to post late at night without spell checking! :)
Lets try this again:
Ok, the RoboSpinArt is so CLOSE to a real test I CAN taste it (see how I
worked the bread QUOTE in above? :) So I was wondering if some of the
usual suspects would be interested in coming over for a last "PUSH" to
try and go from "pile o' parts" to "working prototype". It needs
assembly, and wiring and maybe a bit of carpentry to get this thing up
and running! It also needs LOTS more programing, most of which can be
better performed when the final machine is more or less assembled.
Also, since we seem to be scheduled to do another Thereping showing
soon, I'd like to get some FOLKS to help reVISIT and experiment with the
code on those to make the Therepings play different OCTAVES and maybe
DIFFERENT patterns so as to get rid of the skull-piercing beepy-beepy
MIDI-NESS..
I was thinking maybe add some small pager motors to the unit that would
"pulse" EACH time the unit played a note to help the player "feel" that
the instrument is actually "doing" something.
So, anyone bored and looking for phun this weekend? :)
