[Robotgroup] Armadillocon 28 update

The idea that Tom Morin floated was the "Automating Fear" talk that you
presented at Linucon on The Spider's Preyground. I believe that post (my
reply to Chuck Siros and to TRG mailing list with the topic suggestion) did
eventually make it to the list on Tuesday evening.

Perhaps Eric would give his introduction to the aims and brief history of TGG.

We have Babbling Head, Eric's Black Knight, possibly (thought dubious) the
CNC 3-D mill, some assorted small 'bots, ... to display at the tables along
with any of the props and projects you use in your presentation (the SUV is
a neat item to show off if you want to).

I offer my humblest apologies to the group (along with a sincere offer to
abdicate the presidency, if anyone wants to take that over) for this being
so disorganized. I have been through it this (finals) week with grading.
Tom Morin, our main contact with FACT / Armadillocon, had to leave for the
valley to attend to his family. A number of details were dropped along the
way and not picked up on time (some, such as the admission passes, are
still not entirely resolved).

All the best....

Mike
