I pinged Sarah in re: this tech rider. Official response to my query is
below.
As I suspected, this grew from my conversation with her in re: using
SD/MMC RAM cards from Spansion. She just spliced together wording as
best she could in her haste to get it done. No malice on FNA 's part.
She will correct it when/where she can going forward. :)

Vern,
This is my fault. At the time of the program printing, I was under the
impression that you would be using technology from Spansion. Any other
language came from the pr sheet you turned in. Or if that section wasn't
filled in, I had to improvise.
And the real problem with this year in general is that we had hardly any
time whatsoever to get things done and a few mistakes have been made. I
am, however, working on some corrections that will be added to the
website and I will include your description below as part of that.
I can't apologize enough...we were under a tight, tight deadline this
year. Next year, I promise this won't happen! Please ask your members to
forgive me and I will do what I can to make sure the correct info gets
out there from here on out.

There's been some concern voiced by The Robot Group members that this
description misrepresents the RoboSpinArt machine as being *provided* by
Spansion and that we appear to be just the operators of it.
We were led to believe that the RoboSpinArt machine would be presented
as a *creation* of The Robot Group, *sponsored* by Spansion...?
Is it too late for a slight rewrite? Something like:
Program Description: "RoboSpinArt", sponsored by Spansion- Create and
keep your own unique artwork using arcade controls to operate
interactive robotic technology while being dazzled by an LED light show
and a rocking stereo sound track.
Did we miss an opportunity to proof or provide the wording for this
description? :(
