Table space will be at a premium... so yeah.. bring one for your
projects if you can.
Gray asked a question about presentations:
We have 3 other presenters slotted for a 10-minute presentation.
They'll go on first (and we'll move through them as smoothly as we can).
If there is interest, we can do a couple "open dork" presentations (a
minute or less on the microphone), but I think we'd be there all
night if RG described every project there. So I'll do the call for
open dorks, but refrain unless you are showing off something
completely new?
That being said, Robot Group is slotted for the "grande Finale" slot
on the night's events... 10 minutes. I think a 1 or 2 minute "This
is who we are and what we do and how you can get involved" followed
be SpinArt video followed by dramatic unveiling of the machine and
then have ALL the robots come on at once would make for an incredible
goosebump-inducing moment. Then we encourage people to come talk to
you. (i.e. get past the presentation part as fast as possible and
then talk with people one-on-one)
...but that's just me.
The thinking was that we put you at the end of the scheduled
programming so that people can see your projects and interact with
you and the machines until they kick us out.
see you soon!
