Thank you again, all, for taking the time, energy, and back-breaking
physical abuse to create our most impressive dorkbot ever. It was
absolutely the robo-chaotic-spectacle I was hoping for.

It goes without saying that everyone was, of course, doing EXACTLY
what makes me proud to be in Austin last Thursday night.

Thank you. Thank You. Thank You.

The Maker Faire team (who DID show up, but were kept as flies on the
wall) were blown away and impressed by our energy here in Austin.

Last Thursday was the tip of the iceberg for what I expect the next
12 months to become.

And so: After this past weekend, I can confidently say Maker Faire IS
happening in October of next year. In fact, pencil in Oct 19-22 (the
lawyers are reviewing venue contract... but the expectation is to
close the deal by Thanksgiving... you never know until you see the
final paperwork. I will say that we spent several hours with the team
at the Travis County Expo Center taking measurements and thinking
about things like parking and traffic flow... it feels very real at
this point.)

The Robot Group needs to keep doing what it's been doing. The past
year has seen an amazing renewal of energy and excitement... so many
new projects and ideas inspire _everyone_. I can't wait to see what
happens next.

Congratulations!
