hmm did i skip anyone? I hate doing name lists for the fear of leaving
out someone important.. :P
Anyway, i promised a report so here we go:
:)
We had the ABC crew arrive at 7:00pm last night. The interviews began
around the dinner table. Then they went on a tour of the house. Each
room had some robots and they were intrigued by the Maquarium. The kids
were happy to pipe up and volunteer information. :)
As for "role call", The Babbling head was in the dining room, the
sisyphus was upstairs with the XAR robot, the robosapiens were in the
kitchen and the living room, the Dungeon Keeper was in the living room,
Maxx Steele was in Nic's room. (Sami had a blast playing with the Robo
Pet dog and showed the camerawoman how it worked.)
They did interviews with Nic by himself, then with Kym by herself, then
Sami, then me.. Then they did an interview with Kym & I together.
Brooks managed to coerce his vehicle into making it to my house so we
had Glam Girl and the Gator girl, as well as the Tai Chi Charlie! We got
them hooked up and the camera spent some time looking them over. They
decided to place us in front of Babbling head, XAR bot, Glam Girl and
gator girl for one of those "Hi! We're the Graners!" type "yell outs". :)
Anyway, they packed up and left around 1:30am and then sent all the
tapes by courier at 2:00am to New York so they would be available for
review today!. Yow. Things are really going fast.
We still haven't been told if we are "picked" for this or not, but if
not they sure have gone to a lot of work fer nuthin! ;)
