Thanks Denise,

You know it is such a small world, I was at our Buddhist world peace meeting
on Sunday
and Beverly J. asked me if I was part of the cafe Mundi robot thing and she
said Denise S..
she wasn't even able to get your name out before I said that I met you and
that you were very
helpful in helping me set up my grant for First Night. I think My
presentation was very ambitious
for them, so with the lack of funds this year, it is easier for them to go
with the simpler more
family oriented proposals.

I don't go for the easy or simple or sure thing, I go for Gold. You don't
know me very well
I have been wanting to make a real robot prop for my film idea which has
been in the
making for about 13 or so years. I put 5 months into the prop this past
year, it has broken
down two times frying the RC board and I am a little out of my league in the
electrical
engineering. When I can get back to it and finish the prop, I will be happy
to say that I am a
Robot Group Member, how can a person be a robot group member if they have
never built a
robot?

So now, Maybe I can finish my robot and put it in the Robot Petting Zoo and
get two birds
with one Robot. I will be done with my short film this month and I am sure
the RG will get all of
their grants. I will keep my fingers crossed to be able to finish my Robot.
I really want to be
a card carrying member that has built my own robot from scratch. The
Jupitron 65 is really a
nice robot who wants to be fully functional. He also wants to be a member,
He deserves it :)

John "keeping fingers crossed to someday finish his robot after 13 years" P.
