It's not really a group but one guy, Zack Simpson. Ran into him back in
2002 at SIGGRAPH down in San Antonio.

His display was the main feature at Bruce Sterlings AMODA Christmas
party http://www.amoda.org/specialevent/christmas.php, he also had a
display at ArmadilloCon in 2003. Speaking of SigGraph, they have a local
chapter down in San Antonio and sometimes do interesting things but I
don't check their web page often enough and tend to find out about the
