The animatronic flowers at burningman this year were amazing.
They are built on cherrypicker chassis.

By day it was so-so, but at night it lit up in all different colors and
played music, the flytrap also had a soundtrack, it's was more menacing
and darker bass sounds.

They both took a crew to run, there were people up in the flower head running
the petals and lights and aiming it, it was articulated at the top.
