[Robotgroup] LCD display info needed

Vadim,

You are correct about the remote control as this is already on the  
drawing board. Smart man. Also, it indeed looks like taking apart  
retail units is by far the cheapest solution.

Economy of scale is a weird thing. Even as a regular buyer of large  
amounts of wood at "wholesale" prices, I could get the wood  
significantly cheaper by buying finished goods at IKEA and sawing  
them apart. The same is true with the tempered glass shelves they  
sell. Also, back when I was in the business of selling Cokes and  
snacks in vending machines, I would have had to buy (direct from Coca- 
Cola) three 18 wheelers full of a single flavor of soda and pay cash  
just to MATCH the price that Sam's had them for when you bought a  
single case. In each business, the path to getting into the big  
leagues was always a secret, and there seemed to be no conceivable  
way of ever achieving success through hard work and determination.
