Great idea. If it doesn't happen this weekend, at this PVC version, perhaps we can consider something like this for next year. I think this "Holiday Extravaganza" is going to be a yearly event. And of course, a glowing baby head goes with any ensemble. The perfect accessory!

The center trunk would be a stack of crosses with opposing "branches" extending from the crosses. An ornament could be attached at the end of each branch. And the whole thing painted with a nice rust finish - maybe one shade for the tree and another shade for the ornaments. Oh, and to top it off, a glowing baby head.

We are going to do it, but I thought last night that we would do a medium sized tree. However, if the residents and staff are bidding on these trees, I thought it would be better if it was small, something that could possibly fit on one of the ledges outside of the doors of the apartments.

I will be there on Monday evening anyway, and will finish the tree off (not what is crossing your minds) so that they can auction it the next day.
