Excellent idea, if there was time, I would to it. Marvin

There is probably not enough time for this, but I can visualize a 2' to 3' artificial tree constructed from PVC pipe (maybe 3/4" or 1" PVC). The center trunk would be a stack of crosses with opposing "branches" extending from the crosses. An ornament could be attached at the end of each branch. And the whole thing painted with a nice rust finish - maybe one shade for the tree and another shade for the ornaments. Oh, and to top it off, a glowing baby head.

Denise, 2' feet tall is cool as I have a large Babyhead that will virtually enclose the entire tree thus eliminating the need to make more decorations. But, I guess I will make a smaller one to fit at the top. Marvin

OK everyone,
I know, it was short notice. But where did a deadline ever get in the way of a RG project? The Heritage has been so great to let up meet at their facility, this will be a small (note the word for future reference) gesture of our appreciation.
Last night we were asked if we wanted to make a "Christmas Tree" for a charity auction next Tuesday (yes, this coming Tuesday). We are going to do it, but I thought last night that we would do a medium sized tree. However, if the residents and staff are bidding on these trees, I thought it would be better if it was small, something that could possibly fit on one of the ledges outside of the doors of the apartments.
So, small is good. Marvin, the tree topper will be small as well. I am going to buy one that is, at the most, 2 feet tall.
Remember, if you can make some sort of tree decoration or ornament, please drop them by the Heritage at Gaines Ranch (where we have our regular montlly meetings) by Monday evening. I will be there on Monday evening anyway, and will finish the tree off (not what is crossing your minds) so that they can auction it the next day.
Weird or odd is good, it doesn't have to move or blink, but industrial is fine.
Thanks.
Thanks in advance for your help with this project.
Denise
