[Robotgroup] Tomorow's Meeting! :)

Well, this is for a real product, so you need to use devices that are
commonly used for input such as the CX40 atari joystick. But, yes, the
bottom line is the AVR takes the joystick inputs (or whatever) and then uses
those to control the paddle interface which from the outside world is just a
pot and a single digital line. The trick is to add some "english" to the
driver for acceleration and different effects, so as you move the joystick
right/left instead of just linearly moving the paddle virtually, it does it
with acceleration curves for accel and decel to give it a better "feel" for
some games.

Andre - could you use the conversion electronics you've designed to
build a paddle-clone? I mean, what's in a paddle? A potentiometer
and a button? Does it have mouse-like rollers or optoelectronics?

What about converting a VR glove? Bending your finger back and forth
to make the little bar slide for Breakout!

I do have very fond tactile memories of the way a paddle feels in
your hand... the size... the slightly gritty turning action...sigh.
