[Robotgroup] HAMfests in Texas (possibly useful for Pack Rat Attack)

This is the page I usually use to find Hamfests around
here: http://www.arrl.org/hamfests.html#listing  Just
choose TX and click the "Show Events by State".

We have:
WCARC Annual Swapfest 3/9/08:

Never been here so no clue what crowd or setup is
like.

Belton HamEXPO 4/18/08: http://www.beltonhamexpo.org/
(Just south of Temple).. it's a drive but one of the
larger gatherings of folks and usually a good amount
of tailgate sales in parking lot.

Austin Summerfest 8/1-2/08:
http://www.austinsummerfest.org/ This is at the
Wyndham Garden Hotel in Austin. Haven't remembered to
show up here for several years.  Sounds like they have
room for about 25 vehicles to sell stuff in parking
lot.  I've only been in parking lot, never paid to
hear the talks.

Those are the closest, although I don't know a few of
the towns listed (except Midland) so some others could
be closer than I think.  It could be an opportunity to
sell some stuff although it could all backfire and we
just leave with twice as much stuff.  Just an idea :o)
