Robot Group Members,

Happy New Year! Our organization registration for Girl Day is now
online at http://www.engr.utexas.edu/sos/survey/97956543/index.cfm.
We'd love to have you involved. My original invitation to participate
is below. If you would like to participate, please complete the
online form by January 17, we'll be back in touch with more details.

I'm out all of next week, but if you have questions, feel free to
contact Didey Muniz, our pre-college program coordinator who oversees
Girl Day.

Thanks!

Invitation to Participate (2/24/07)

Robot Group Members,

The Women in Engineering Program (WEP) hosts "Introduce a Girl to
Engineering Day" annually as part of Engineers Week. We are gearing up
for "Girl Day 2007" to be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 and are
connecting with organizations that may be interested in participating
in the program focused on 1st through 8th grade girls. The Robot
Group would be a perfect fit into our program as either a Discovery
Booth or Activity Room host. The attached "2007 Girl Day Invited
Partner Plan" provides information on Girl Day and our Discovery Booth
and Activity Room participation options.

We've had Girlstart and the Girl Scouts as partners in past years as
well as this upcoming year and are seeking additional organizations to
join in the day. Please let me know what questions you have and if
the Robot Group is interested in participating this year. We'll need
all partner information decided by January 12th so we may continue
with our planning and organization of the event.

Thanks,
