Subject: Amazing Audio Event!

TRANSPARENT MIKE an evening of Seriously Strange Sounds

Your local DIYists, David Nunez and Maida Barbour, are putting together
a showcase of unique audio innovations (any device, method, instrument
or thingamabob you've created that makes a new noise or makes an old
noise better) in an open mike setting. It doesn't matter what noise you
make as long as no one else has done it quite like that before, and
you're willing to share it with others.

You can participate in three ways:

• prepare a 10-20 minute demonstration of your noise and your process to
include in the scheduled portion of the evening. For this, you'll need
to submit a short, simple proposal to us by 2/14 (just tell us what
you're planning on doing in an email).

• bring your thing to the event and take the stage during the Open  Mike
portion of the evening.

• just show up and enjoy the cacophony.

When: Sunday, February 25th, 7:00pm

Where: Brentwood Tavern, 6701 Burnet Road, Austin
