I've seen this before. That guy achieved awesome performance for a home
built system. It even performs better than my store bought gs120
galvanometers.
I'm building a computer interface device to run my galvos and pcaom.
It uses a usb sound device and custom software to convert the ilda files
to multichannel audio.

The people who are working on laser scanner systems might be able to
adapt parts of this system. What most impressed me is the guy built his
own closed loop galvanometers.
