Sparkfun has a selection of different GPS modules:

Futurelec has one:

Never heard of these guys:

These guys have an 802.11 standalone gps server that is pretty interesting.

One of the things I am learning about GPS on my "seeker" robot is that GPS
doesn't seem to provide good heading data at slow or stopped speeds. I am
in the process of adding a digital compass module to get accurate
orientation data. The module I am looking at is this one:

It has a real SPI interface, unlike the Parallax one that has a weird 4 and
11 bit synchronous interface. What I have not been able to find is a good
reference on how to do tilt compensation. This unit provides x, y, & Z axis
magnetic field strength but I can't find a good reference anywhere that
tells me how to integrate the 3 axis magnetic field strengths to give me
direction.
