Only problem with Frys other than being way north is they don't seem to want
to keep their shelves stocked. One good science fair can take all of the
resistors and capacitors and they'll stay out for months.

20 years ago I made a nifty ASCII to phonetic speech synth, that worked
well, all with 100% Shack Chips.,,, Tandy used to have usefull ICs and
stuff on cardpacks, but that is gone now, Where does Forrest Mimms sell
his E-Workbooks of LED project schematics? And notice they ( Tandy)
markets mainly RCA braned CE stuff as there is an alliance with Thompson in
France now. Someone should own stock in both Tandy & ST. But as a
neighborhood chain, the past is gone & they do not EVEN compare to Fry's.at
all.
