[Robotgroup] EFF Party poster...?

Vern,

First: we *definitely* want the Robot Group at the event. That's a definite
100% certainty.

When I saw a final of the poster a few days ago, I told Doryan it was a
no-go, that the Robot Group had to be included. He said it was too late, the
poster was already at the printer. There wasn't a whole lot EFF-Austin could
do at that point, and I was pretty upset about it. Doryan told me that he
would talk to you about it, which is why he emailed you.

Of course, he shouldn't have sent the flyer to the printer without my
review, but when I didn't respond that same afternoon, he took it to the
printer anyway.

I don't think Doryan meant to say he didn't know you were participating,
because he obviously did. What he told me was that nobody had told him you
had to be *on the flyer*, which I think is just CYA on his part, because I
think it was obvious we wanted you on there, based on the earlier discussion
you've quoted. It would've felt better if he'd at least said, yeah, I
screwed up.

It's true that Doryan has done an awful lot of work for very little pay, but
there's no question this shouldn't have happened. I'm really sorry about
it. Tell us what we can do to make it right at this point, and we'll do it,
but please do plan on coming to the event. (Incidentally we did manage to
raise some $$ for TRG. And he says TRG is in all the other PR, though I
haven't actually seen more than one message.)

Thanks,
Jon
