Alternating freestyle (nice name for anarchy) with formal meetings might work well.  Some of the official business stuff could also be reported ahead of time via email and put on the agenda sheet itself so it would become part newsletter.  Stuff like treasurers report, robofest progress report, things that don't really need discussion.  Fill in those blanks ahead of time.  

Another thought is with the room we've got there we could divide into sigs or like freestyle over here and propeller class over there.
