I'm looking for 20 or so cheap, battery powered noisemakers (music, chirp,
whatever) that can be used in a blind Easter egg hunt. Prefer something that
makes sound for ~5 minutes or longer per activation, is egg sized or
smaller, did I say cheap.

Walgreens has some, but they're not ideal - in the $2-3 range and some that
sound for <=10 seconds per activation.

Any ideas? I was thinking the fabric stores might have some sew-in
noisemakers, tried Oriental trading but their search isn't very productive.
