Clendon,
I like the idea of the group involvement and I
applaud your initiative. Right now, I have zero
interest in a PCB for an H-bridge but I do have
interest in some other one-off PCBs and learning to etch my own.
Much like the re-establishment of a Parallax
BASIC Stamp SIG, the establishment of a home-brew
PCB SIG is a great way for some to share
expertise while others absorb it. In my humble
opinion (note that some of my students might
testify that I know nothing about teaching), the
responsibility of being taught is to teach others
and / or do something useful to advance the group's goals.
I didn't find your reply to Vern petty of
particularly defensive; however, I also did not
find the original replies to be obnoxious. offensive, or aggressive.
I look forward to your continued involvement with The Robot Group.
