David, your comment about Tom Morin in NO way is a downer, and most likely 
has provided us all with a chance to smile as we think of his gentle 
demeanor, his vast intellect, and his quirky nature.  I'm quite sure in his 
own way, Tom WAS there.

I offer a deep heartfelt thanks to you for bringing Tom back to the 
forefront of our discussions, albeit for only a day or two.

I think of Tom often, and am frequently caught smiling to myself as I 
remember his laugh, the way he silently nodded in acknowledgement of 
something he already knew, and his white Saturn occupying a parking space 
at his favorite 'haunts', including a well known used book store.

I wonder how his five wives are doing?
