Hi Scott, great to have you with us. I'm sort of a half-assembly programmer myself.

A lot of people have been fooling around with robotics, which is fundamentally easy stuff, for too long. I'm so glad to see Microsoft _finally_ apply their charitable bent to the cause. Now things are really going to happen! I too want to 'co-invent the ultimate killer app for robotics and Microsoft'. Specially for Microsoft.

Calculating volume and velocity can be tricky. I like to use 'dimensional analysis' to keep things rigorous.

I'm usually too busy hooking up PVC and trash cans myself, and I hardly get to the RG meetings. PVC in fact is one of my four favorite building materials. PVC, foam core, carbon fiber or titanium, mostly depending on how much mechanical strength I think I need.

No need to 'hire' me or 'pay' me. All the above knowledge conferred completely gratis.

I love this group! I love this mailing list!

Anyone seen Tim lately?
