[Robotgroup] Maker Faire

Hey Guys,
   
  My wife is going to be at the Makers Faire with the 6th Street Artists Market... so if you need an extra hand I'm available.  Also in the weeks leading up to the event, if anyone needs help with research on the web, errands for parts, intelligence collection, etc. just let me know!

John, Vern was joking. You must realize that, right? You also must 
be aware that laughter is a great way to release some of the pressure 
generated by life's friction.

As for time enough to reply to answer emails, I can testify that Vern 
was dealing with TRG business at yet another planning / work session 
last night ... I drove off from that one at 2359 hrs.

I haven't kept track of the number of hours of my own time spent on 
the phone, meetings in meat-space, research on the web, and errands 
for parts, intelligence collection, etc. all to enhance The Robot 
Group's presence and presentations at Maker Faire. I do know that 
they run well over 100 hours to date. [Ed Gonzalez has even more 
time invested and so, probably, do Kym and Denise.]

Vern's time commitment has been far greater ... that, of course, over 
and above the normal duties of being the President (we'll note in 
passing that sleep, wife, children, and employment require a 
substantial amount of his remaining weekly hours).

For those not familiar with the 90-90 rule, it 
states something to the effect that the first 90% of a project 
consumes 90% of the time ... the remaining 10% of the project 
consumes the other 90% of the time.

There remains much to be done. Get your project(s) ready. Then, if 
you have a little time to spare, why not subvert some of that to the 
group effort?
