There was an old Peanuts cartoon in which the other kids were 
laughing at one of Charlie Brown's ideas / beliefs.  He turned red 
with rage as the crowd walked away laughing.

He shouted at them, "Some day, when I am President of the United 
States, you'll all be sorry!"

 From the crowd came a voice in reply, "I'll say we will!"
