I remember someone saying they thought Maker Faire 2008 was coming to 
Austin as well.. I saw this today on the MAKER FAIRE web site:

"Upcoming:
Maker Faire Bay Area 2008: May 3-4, 2008, San Mateo, CA"

So it will be in Cali. :)
