Greetings Makers:

We hope you are looking forward to Maker Faire as much as we are!

This is a note to say that we are expecting you and looking forward to
your participation this coming weekend, October 20-21. If you haven't
yet received your official confirmation letter from us by postal mail,
come anyway, and we'll take care of you on site. Please contact Valerie
Aubel (valerie at oreilly.com <mailto:valerie at oreilly.com>) if
circumstances have changed, and you are not going to be there. Note that
Valerie and the team are on-site already.

On-site at Maker Check-In, we'll provide

     * -your 2 badge credentials--these admit you and an assistant to the
       Faire (Large groups who need more than 2 credentials, send your
       list to valerie at oreilly.com <mailto:valerie at oreilly.com> by
       Thursday)

     * -a location map with your area highlighted;

     * -a parking pass--if you did not receive one by postal mail;

     * -carts/dollies checkout for transporting your supplies.

If you haven't sent in your signed Participation Agreement yet, you can
give it to us at Maker Check-In.

Note that your three-digit Maker ID Number will be very helpful for
Check-In. It is “###” at the end of your project's URL on the Maker
Faire website (it looks like this: http://makerfaire.com/pub/e/###). You
can find your project in this alphabetical listing:
<http://makerfaire.com/austin/2007/makers/all/>

Other things to know:

Setting up: Load-in is scheduled for Friday, Oct 19th from 8am to 8pm
and on Saturday morning from 7:30am to 9:30am.
We highly recommend that you load-in on Friday to become familiar with
your location.

Tent camping: available at no charge to Makers starting Thursday at 3pm.
Please see <http://makerfaire.com/austin/2007/camping> for guidelines.

Volunteers: Friends and family have an opportunity to volunteer at the
Maker Faire and will get free admission! They can learn more at
<http://makerfaire.com/austin/2007/volunteer/>

See you there!

The Maker Faire Team
