[Robotgroup] Researchers develop a 360-degree holographic display

I saw this one working at least 5 years ago:

I talked to somebody that worked on it, and the funny thing was that
he acted like the technology was some big secret, and he couldn't tell
me anything.  Yet I could easily look up the patent and learn exactly
how it works.

They are pretty neat though.  Too bad we don't see many in real life yet.
