Dear Artists:
You will be receiving an email today letting you know if your project
has been selected for FNA 2008 or if I have questions regarding your
budget. At this point in fundraising, some projects will still be
pending funding as we have several requests out that we are waiting to
hear back on.
I also wanted to let you know about this opportunity with H-E-B. If you
have any questions, please let me know. If you know of any other artists
who might be interested, please pass this on. This has a tight Sept. 10
deadline.
Thanks,
Ginny

Dear Artists:
H-E-B Presents First Night Austin is calling all artists for a unique
opportunity to design and install a mural on the east-facing façade of
the H-E-B location at South Congress and Oltorf. This artist commission
is in celebration of the store’s 50^th Anniversary.
Designs should be family-friendly, fun and reflect the essence of the
South Congress neighborhood. Please visit the store and pickup your
Artist Packet from the Business Center for details and information on
the history of the store.
The top five designs will be exhibited at the South Congress H-E-B on
September 20. A winner will be selected by October 1 and the design will
be unveiled on December 1. Questions and submissions should be directed
to Ginny Sanders at First Night Austin, ginny at firstnightaustin.org
<mailto:ginny at firstnightaustin.org>. For further details and guidelines,
please review the request for proposals:
