[Robotgroup] New Subscriber! :)

I question why the name of the group ever had such a focus on "Robot"  
when it  was and is a general arts and technology group. Can any of  
the old timers explain what they were thinking when they came up with  
this name? It was mentioned at the ***non-RobotGroup sanctioned***  
event known as RoboRetreat a year ago, but I can not recall the answer.
