Nothing like a new subscriber to stir the pot! 

 

I think the self-questioning of the group is healthy - it shows we're
self-aware. 

 

My observation as a not-very-active member: I seriously doubt that all of
those projects were created in a vacuum - I know that many of us have
contributed *something* to these projects, even if it was just non-useful
advice. J

 

I have to point out that most of us *do* tend to work on our projects
independently until we get stuck, it is simply the nature of the beast. The
great thing about the group is that when you hit that sticking point, there
is always someone on the list who is eager to offer expertise, advice, a
code snippet, a spare part, or maybe just commiserate with you when the
magic smoke escapes from your favorite MCU.
