I think the EPS is just a bitmap in an
encapsulated postscript shell,
but I'm not certain....

1) I can only get the black & white .EPS to open.
2) The header information in both files begins
with C5D0D3C6 (hex) which indicates that these
are PC format .EPS files.
3) The black and white .EPS file in your archive
appear to contain a raster image, so it probably
contains a .TIFF file, not the vector-format .WMF.
I'll locate an appropriate Mac on campus this
morning to examine the files that Glenn has
located in response to Ed's request.
