Vern,

I did not get to read the article that you wrote until today. Somehow I
misplaces my copy with your article. I did enjoy "Recovering Our Technical
Literacy" Article.

The thought that your article brought to mind was that I do not have much
room here at my home. I still dabble in robotics and electronics from time
to time. I thought the saying "where there is a will there is a way" came to
mind. I think the latest generation have a weak will so to speak.

I think the death of "Mr. Wizard" has something to do with it all.

Jon

Hi Jon! Thanks for the introduction, glad to have you!

So, you like SERVO and Nuts/Volts eh? Did you by any chance read the
"appetizer" column in the August issue of SERVO? Or possibly the
"Thereping" or "Train Saver" articles in Nuts and volts last year? :D

Too bad you're not in Austin, we have weekly meetings where lots of
stuff happens. :) Any plans to be in Austin any time soon, like maybe
for Maker Faire?

We're planning to be there in force! :)
