Dear Maker,

I'm happy to let you know that your proposal for Maker Faire, "Robot Building made Simple", has been accepted. We're looking forward to having you participate in Maker Faire Austin!

To prepare for Maker Faire Austin, please read the Maker Manual, which is designed to help you navigate the logistics of Maker Faire. The manual should answer most questions you might have, as well as point you to the right person to get additional questions answered.

Download the Maker Manual PDF:

MAKER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT: Please take the time to fill out the Maker Participation Agreement (included in the manual) and fax it to 707-829-1154 (or send a PDF of the completed form via email) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can confirm your attendance and assign your space. Once we have received your signed Maker Participation Agreement, we will send you two (2) complimentary guest tickets to give to your friends and/or family.

MAKER FAIRE SAFETY TEAM: To help us produce a fun and safe environment for Makers and the many attendees, we have added an emergency and support service to the Maker Faire Team. If your exhibit requires Fire Marshall Approval (you know who you are!), please submit a safety plan for your exhibit immediately via email to Louise Glasgow at louiseg at chispa-sf.net. If you have questions regarding this, please contact Louise.

SPREAD THE NEWS: We've created some Maker Faire graphics that you can use on your website to let people know about your appearance: http://makerfaire.com/webbadges/
We appreciate any efforts on your part to promote Maker Faire to friends, family, and co-workers.

LOGISTICS: In the coming weeks, we will confirm the details of your exhibit, such as any of logistical requirements you specified in your entry. We may need to talk to you by phone to clarify some issues. If you have specific concerns about the logistics, please contact Valerie Aubel at valerie_aubel at msn.com.

PROGRAM: We will also be preparing information about you and your exhibit for our website and our program, based on what you submitted in your entry. We may need to contact you for additional information. If you have questions about this, please contact Michelle Hlubinka at binka at oreilly.com.

Our goal is to make the Maker Faire a truly unique, educational, and extraordinary experience for everyone. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you at Maker Faire.
