[Robotgroup] Amiag 2000 needs a good home...

I will take good care of it if it works?

My Amiga 500 was damaged in a flood, along with my Atari 800. 10 or so years
ago, it was like 4 in the morning, huge rain just happened, I look outside,
and I see a reflection of the moon on the ground, I am like "what the
heck?". Then I realize there is 6 feet of water outside, cars are floating
outside. What happened was the rain level got up to 2-6 inches on the
ground, the idiots that designed the pumping station for the creek, put the
pump at GROUND level, thus it shorted out, the creek overflowed and broke,
and presto 100 million gallons of water are in my yard. My garage was full
of 18 inches of water, luckily didn't get into my house, but all my
computers on the ground in boxes were wrecked with mud.

But, currently my collection consists of:

Atari 400/800XL/800/130XE (1-2 of each)
Apple II
TRS 80 Model 3 (2)
Commodore 64 (1 + spares for chips that burn out)
TRS 80 Color Computer (1)
Vic 20 (1)

I think that's it :)

Dear Roboteers:

A good friend of mine (and fellow Amiga enthusiast of old) has an Amiga
2000 that he is looking to place in a loving home. Though I would have
snapped this up, most of you know I am in the process of moving and must
divest of things rather than collect them. :(

So, please contact me if you can take delivery of a A2000 and a few
boxes of software and accessories. :)

NOTE: He's pretty insistent that this go to a home and not a landfill or
recycle center. So, if you're looking for a well-cared for vintage
computing machine, its yours no cost. If you're looking for something to
rip into pieces for recycle or other purposes, never mind.. :)

Thanks!

Vern
