[Robotgroup] Armadillocon

Those who have went to armadillocon, any comments on it? Worth it? I have
written many non-fictional books, but have never published my fictional
works, so little money in that biz, you make 5-25 cents a unit! However, I
am always interested in hearing what sci-fi authors have to say about deals,
royalties, etc. However, the writers workshops are closed. So, is the event
worth paying $20 and tooling around the expo or vendor area? What kind of
stuff is going on in general? The website is useless btw, I have been
looking at it, seems like its missing the "big picture" and there are no
images of the events in the past, so I can "see" the vibe there.
As an author, will it be worthwhile at all since the writers workshops are
closed?
Anyway, any comments, critique, etc. of the event?
Thanks,
Andre'
