You're kidding? You never rubbed a 9V against steel wool? That's one of the
oldest tricks in the book along with spud guns.
But, if you really want to see something crazy try a larger current source
like a 12V lantern battery then you will really see some cool stuff. When I
was like 4-5 years old, I used to go into my moms cleaning stuff, take the
SOS pads, wash them of their soap and then burn them all up :) My poor mom
always thought she used them up :)
