Wow! I remember having a hand-crank plaster of paris rotomold for
making creepy monster heads when I was a kid. Apparently, I'm not the
only one who had one.

Running a motor would sure beat cranking by hand (because it took 10-15
minutes
of turning IIRC to make it work well).
