We're really excited about the next dorkbot, which will be held on
March 8th, 6-8pm. We will once again be partnering with SxSW to
produce a SxSW-interactive opening night event. Mark your calendar
because it should be an amazing event. We'll once again be located
in Brush Square park, across the street from the convention center
at
5th and Neches. If you were one of the thousands of people there
last year, you'll know it's an event not to be missed.

dorkbot13 @ SXSW - March 8, 6:00 pm, Brush Square Park, across from
Austin Convention Center

Co-sponsored by Make Magazine, SXSW Interactive and the International
Game Developers Association of Austin

FREE - RSVP REQUIRED - http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/425144

Along with this announcement however, is a call to arms! To
Austin's
dorks, geeks, nerds, artists, engineers, makers, crafters, hackers,
and everyone in between: We're still in need of presenters!
If you have:
   * A project you want to show off (Even if it's not finished - we
know yours aren't, none of ours are!)
   * A group or organization you want to promote (If it's loosely
related to dorkbot - a ballroom dancing club might be a
stretch....
Unless you build your own disco floors)
   * A skill or knowledge you want to show off (Are you passionate
about solar energy? are you really good at welding or tying knots
in
rope? Come show us how!)
drop us a line! Either through the blabber list or at
dorkbotaustin at dorkbot.org

We're also still looking for sponsors. If you are connected to a
company that might like to get their name attached to one of the
most
visible SxSW-interactive events, let us know. We had a ton of
glowing press last year and are hoping to repeat.

It should be an exciting event, we look forward to seeing you all
in
the coming weeks!
