Anyone used HP HCTL1000's ?
I've got an old board with 2 of them that interface to driver boards
that use UDN2954 drivers.  Not certain the driver boards are worth the 
trouble,
I'm considering replacing them with Gecko G320's or G340s.

This is all old (1986) Lab-40 stuff, it may not be worth messing with, 
but the motors
and tables are nice stuff.

For building a small CNC X-Y table, maybe all new electronics are the 
way to go.
But still a nice closed loop servo controller might be useful for a 
robot, I've got other
DC servo motors that could use a controller.
