[Robotgroup] resistor?

Either would probably work, but hard to say for sure without a peek at the
schematic.

Assuming the resistor is used as a current-limiting resistor for the LED,
you pull slightly higher current with the 22 ohm, slightly less with the 27
ohm.

24 is a non-standard value - as you've discovered. I'd lean toward the
22-ohm - closer to the specified value.

Another suggestion would be to use a pair of 47-ohm resistors in parallel -
this would give you 23.5 ohms, very close to the value specified.

What is your supply voltage?

Subject: [Robotgroup] resistor?

As some of you saw last night at the meeting, I'm having a resistor
problem with the Frog Chorus. The LED kit I am using calls for a 24
ohm resistor which was missing from the kit. All I could find at Frys
is a 22ohm 1/2 w and a 27ohm 1/4w. Would any of those two work.? The
kit includes 5 LEDs, 3 transistors, Cap. and a Electret Mic. and a
trimmer resistor and is powered by 9v. Hey Vern, just thought of a
spin off band called Transistor Sister. Think that's taken? Marvin
