Hey all, hello from Atlanta. I found out about this group after emailing
Vern about an article he wrote in Servo, and what a cool find. I've been
mucking around with robotics for a while, spent the last couple years in a
neat program called 'Music Technology' at GaTech where I got to work on a
robotic drummer that could listen to and accompany other humans--that was
the plan at least. http://www.cc.gatech.edu/%7Egilwein/Haile.htm

Nowadays I'm trying to ramp up CuriousInventor.com, partly out of
frustration of how long it takes to find tools and parts in the Digikey
tombs--usually I just want something that's cheap and works, not 10,000
choices. I'm also trying to fill in gaps in the practical knowledge I never
got in school. So that's the company so far: cherry-picked parts and tools
alongside how-to guides.

Cheers,

-Scott
