[Robotgroup] Robot Challenge Help Needed

I am still defining some stuff, what I have is going
here:

I think 4"x4" would be an idea size, but I hate to
rule out using common things like Vex and Lego stuff,
yet I don't feel like lugging around some huge arena
in my car all the time and there is only so much room
in the Heritage anyway, so I think 6"x6" should be
allowed, it will just be more difficult to navigate
the small arena. Using sumo bots would be great, the
only issue is that some require a very smooth flat
arena and some even use a scraping edge to get under
the competitor. This arena is to be a little more 3d
with a ramp and maybe some edges to go over because it
has to be easy and cheap to make.
