Thanks for the info on those projects, they look cool and I am a fan of
GNU/Open source projects where ever possible. I know with The Robot
Group web sites, we host them on Debian Linux servers using Apache web
server, so we are staying as "true" to GNU as we can. :)

Lots of different ideas were considered when we were looking at
transitioning the site including various control panel, blog and content
management systems. The deciding factors were how the data was
*currently* stored and how to eliminate the complexity so that "average"
members could learn to maintain the site w/o much training and/or effort.

In the end, the bulk of The Robot Group web site was recently converted
(via a LOT of effort on the part of James) to use Wordpress as a front
end to make it simple for anyone with an account to edit.

Also, just in the last 24 hours or so, James completed the transition
from Moin Moin wiki to MediaWIKI (the same WIKI used by Wikipedia). :)

Hopefully this will remove the burden of updating and make it easier for
everyone to participate in the updates of the page. :)

Speaking of which, would you be interested in helping to update the
WIKI..? :)
