[Robotgroup] Basic Stamp Success

Well there were a lot of Show & Tells last night I can see why Vern might have wanted to keep the meeting going. And I felt like a moron so I thought I'd just wait for an opportunity to post it.

Before I actually started messing with electronics, I read an article about the Chinese economy. It boiled down to the fact that the most efficient and cheapest way to manufacture tiny electronic circuits is not with automation and robots, but with tiny Chinese factory girl hands -- China's most abundant natural resource. This is the main reason why a lot of our electronics are made over there.

I now have much respect for those tiny factory girls... soldering is definitely not an easy skill to master. Much harder, at least to me, than the bass clarinet (I'm still scratching my head over Prof. Conrad's bass clarinet thingie).

And, Scott, I remember you asking about "Is this the portion for asking questions" when the video was over. I think that it wasn't noticed as that was what you were wanting, rather, I think Vern didn't realize that. Am I right? I just got to thinking about this just now. We always want questions, questions mean that thinking is involved, and I think your questions would have been perfect last night!
