Subject: [Robotgroup] Collector looking for old computers you don't want / have room for

If any one has old vintage computers that they don't want to destroy, give
away, but would like to see them preserved in a collection, so that future
generations can enjoy them, email and let me know what you have. I may have
mentioned this, but my friend Sellam Ismail is the owner of the world's
largest privately held retro computer collection at vintagetech.com /
vintage.org. He has been collecting for 20 years, has thousands of
computers, books, magazines, etc. he also runs the vintage computer festival
each year. His storage is located in a climate controlled livermore
california warehouse that is 6000-10,000 square feet, but I hold things for
him here and he picks them up or has it shipped.

Anyway, I noticed a lot of garage sales, and people trying to give stuff
away to make space. But, if you have any significant machines from the 60's,
70's, 80's and would like to see them preserved let me know. For example, a
local had a Sol20 that he is donating (might even be a RG member), so I
thought I would put it out there, its a shame to throw these machines away
or let them turn to dust and rust in humid garages.
