Thing is, Mike, what part of your freedoms have you given up by having
people check up on stuff like this?

As long as it's being done responsably I don't mind too much that they're
sniffing my tailpipe for excess pollution
on the entrance ramp to Mopac or that Hawaii Ag. took away Sue's Gardenia
Lei to protect California from fruit flys or whatever.

Of course there will ineveitably be the abuses or just plain stupidity that
we should have zero tolerance for.  The stick up blinky things in Boston
(Mooninites) are one example.
